The first activity opened to the “public” was a series of meetings with the Fellows of the Consel (Consorzio Elis). This initiative began in the autumn of 2008 on the part of the Consel, in order to offer to its collaborators (professionals and specialists who share their experience in different Consel programs) a space for debate and reflection.
After a preliminary meeting in December 2008, we began to work together, and since February 2009, periodic meetings have been held. The basic formula consists of presentations of an academic nature given by the professors of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross, integrated with the case stories of some of the Fellows. The preparatory work, undertaken together by the two presenters and followed by a member of the scientific committee, serves to harmonize the two presentations. During the sessions, an ample amount of time is given to debate, which is normally lively, revealing a wealth of ideas.
The second year of these meetings will be concluded with a conference open to the public early in Feb 2011.
Accounts of the meetings of this year are available at: http://blogs.elis.org/managementbyethics/
