Christian Humanism – in collaboration with IESE Business School.
MCE Project collaborates with certain professors at the IESE Business School in Barcelona. Professors Melé and Fontrodona have given presentations for the MCE Seminar, and Professor Schlag was invited in April 2010 to speak about the encyclical, Caritas in Veritate.
In December 2009, a proposal was made to jointly organize an annual colloquium entitled, Christian Humanism, with business professionals interested in the Social Doctrine of the Church and the contemporary development of the Christian message. The colloquium will be alternately hosted by IESE and the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross. As the 1st International Colloquium took place in January 2010, the 2nd, entitled, Christian Humanism at the Service of Development, will unfold 24-25 October 2011.
The program is available on the websites of both the MCE Project and IESE Business School.

“Riscoprire il carisma fondazionale vivendone le virtù” (Rediscovering the basic charism by living its virtues) – in collaboration with Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza, Padre Pio’s hospital
During the course of 2010, the directors of Casa Sollievo in San Giovanni Rotondo, after examining their approach, decided to return to a hospital management centered on the foundational charism of Padre Pio of Pietralcina.
With this aim in mind, they contacted the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in order to plan a formation program aimed at a group of circa 50 managers.

“Progettare l’Abruzzo” (Designing Abruzzo), in collaboration with the Forgia Cultural Association.
Having heard and welcomed the proposal of the Forgia Cultural Association in Pescara, we began a series of sessions, organized along a format similar to that of the Management by Ethics program with Consorzio ELIS. The foundational message of the project is the possibility of a successful marriage of human and business development. During the sessions, the presentation by a professor is followed by the case history of a local entrepreneur. For the first year, entrepreneurs and their businesses were selected from the four Abruzzi provinces according to specific criteria, including those qualities which can inspire the promotion of a healthy and sustainable company.
